Brant is active in his community. He has served on his community Board of Elections 2002-2010, Planning Commission 2007-2010, Neighborhood Board of Directors 2004-2005 and Volunteer Cooperative Teacher 2006-2012. Brant also serves his community through his local church, Creekside United Methodist.
